The BioAssay Express is commercial software. Public web deployments (such as www.bioassayexpress.com) are free to use, and the data that is contained on them is public domain. The product may be installed for private use with permission from Collaborative Drug Discovery, Inc.
The server makes use of the BioAssay Template Editor project, which is copyrighted by Collaborative Drug Discovery, and made available under a dual license: Gnu Public License 2.0 by default, or proprietary with permission.
